I very much agree with both of you, which is stopping me from ascribing to any current creed at present. Yet how then do we seek this mother who loves us?

Ah, I see what you mean! Thank you for explaining~ I also agree that there is something off about modernists taking a living religion from its societal roots and context, but does anyone have any thoughts about reconstructionist religions based on the palaeolithic goddess cults? I’ve just found it interesting how in so many myths, especially Greek…[Read more]

You make a very good point, Petite Sorcière! It’s human egotism to expect to be able to understand the universal truth- surely something that all-consuming would be utterly incomprehensible. May I ask why you find Buddhism closest to it, tho?

    Rayati!

I’ve not seen such a general discussion of religious beliefs on here, but I’d be interested in one. So it would be lovely to know, especially if you’re a déanist, what groups you associate with and what you believe in, if that’s all right~

  • Rayati, Miss Eriana,

I subscribe to TheLongHairedFlapper on Youtube, and she has some lovely videos on scents from the Victorian era through to the 20s, which can be made with essential oils. Do let us know how how your perfume-making goes!

  • Rayati!

If I may revive this, I would just like to add some favourites of my own, and ask if anyone has experience with a company I am interested in buying from. I too agree that modern perfumes smell terribly artificial, and that oil-based ones are best, however one eau de toilette which has impressed me greatly is Après L’Ondée, also by G…[Read more]

  • Rayati Miss Eriana,

I apologise greatly for my lateness! Please give me your loving indulgence. I adore your story idea, and wish you the best of luck with it. I would like to extend an offer of help alongside Sushuri-chei and Rill-chei, and hope you will enjoy your time here.

  • Rayati, Mei-san!

It’s always so lovely to meet more new people on here, especially a fellow young brunette. Please give me your loving indulgence~ Your experience really strikes a chord too. The world is poisonous, and in my case the poison has affected me also. How shameful it is that innocent things rarely stay that way in Telluria! Still, as…[Read more]

  • That all sounds lovely! What happens on Princess Day? And no, I hadn’t read the Dream Key until now, but it was so beautiful. Thank you so much for your recommendation, Elefarya-chei.

  • Rayati!

I apologise for reviving an old thread, but Nativity is drawing near, and this image made me wonder what traditions are celebrated in the Motherland, and to enquire if anyone here knows.

While I agree Rei is quite a lot more soft and yielding than the average brunette, she almost seems yielding in a brunette way, in my opinion. Her character has a very ‘knightly’ feel, and even though both she and Yoshino have a strong desire to protect the other, it’s Rei who likes to be the one to spoil Yoshino.

Her caringness also seems quite…[Read more]

Your reason makes a great deal of sense! Thank you for putting it so clearly. The switch from wet-dry to hot-cold in Western Telluria to me explains the curious phenomenon of men’s having more power over religious institutions even though women are widely regarded as being more spiritual. They have quite literally taken the heavens!

Thank you for sending me the Takarazuka Revue clip, by the way, Sushuri-chei! I’ve recently started watching the Rose of Versailles anime but to see real girls play the characters is so pretty~

I’ve never heard of those teas, Sanae-chei, but they sound lovely! Where do you find them?

Absolutely agree with your sorting of the Marimite characters, Rill-chei, and I’m with you on Rei-sama, although she does have a certain stoicism that in my opinion could swing her into the brunette category. I’ve heard Aria mentioned before by someone, and…[Read more]

Gosh, Elefarya-chei, I’d never considered that. It can’t be coincidental. Thank you for bringing my attention to the fact. Our Lady really does work in mysterious ways!

And rayati, Sanae-chei! It is so nice to meet you. It’s no problem, and it is so thoughtful to introduce yourself now. I am certainly in capable hands, though, I must agree.…[Read more]
