    Rayati, Miss Venus!
I’m thinking about veiling for at least the major days, though if possible, I’ll do it for the month. I usually lean towards a neutral color (I’m using black or navy), but pink sounds lovely! It depends what you have in your wardrobe, I do believe.

Ah, I had intended to paste that url into the bottom of my post, but it didn’t seem to catch… I’m quite useless when it comes to technology, I’m afraid! Thank you for referring to it, Elfarya-chei (and also for having compiled it to begin with!)

Sushuri-chei – If it is permissible and agreed upon by the maids who wrote the materials, I would…[Read more]

Rayati, Miss Urania! Please give me your loving indulgence, and forgive my tardiness (I never seem to greet maids in a timely fashion; one of my faults, I suppose.)

I also spent some time in pagan religions, for a while. I enjoyed the prettier aspects of it, but it seemed too harsh otherwise. Finding Our Lady was quite the spiritual windfall for…[Read more]

Rayati honored Miss Lynn, honored Elefarya-chei,

I personally have a great love of the Chapel’s Catholic style rosary, given my upbringing. I have both a Catholic style rosary and a Hindu style mala at present, but I often default to using the former.

I’ve always preferred the Chapel’s scriptures and prayers – while I will, on occasion, make…[Read more]

  • On this topic –

I’ve quite admired the “mori girl” street style of Japan for some time, and I think that, ergonomically speaking, it would indefinitely help to ward off the cold (a great many layers, and long ones, at that!)

However, I was wondering how racinated it is? Since it takes on an almost… I don’t want to say sloppy, but it perhaps…[Read more]

I confess that I am not always consistent with my prayer life, and as such, I thought it might be an interesting idea to start a sort of rosary “challenge”.

I plan to pray a rosary every day up until Nativity, and, Dea willing, beyond that.

Would any other maids be interested in joining me?

    In Amity,

  • Rayati!
I, too, live in a very chilly place.
Personally, I have taken to wearing a sort of compression nylon under my knee-length dresses. I am also Estrenne, but dressing as such could be taken very poorly in my culture, and I have yet to pluck up the courage to do so… So I often stick to 1950s style dresses, or even shift dresses reminiscent…[Read more]

Rayati, and welcome, Miss Lynn! Please grant me your loving indulgence, and forgive my tardy welcome. It is entirely a pleasure to make your acquaintance!

I just ordered a few lovely items from a Lolita site I have been admiring from afar for quite some time! I got two dresses – one qi and one classic – and a petticoat, which I can wear under my other vintage dresses, as well.

I remember when I first came to Shining World, and the idea of cutting out bifurcs in favor of vintage or otherwise…[Read more]

I beg forgiveness for my lateness – but this is an absolutely splendid idea! I would most certainly be interested. Please keep us all updated.

    In amity,

  • Rill-san,

Please do not apologize! You have not ruined any positivity of the experience, and yet, hearing of the traditional view was very humbling, and I believe was important to realign myself from the modern view of the Eclipse. Your words are a balm to my heart and a great reassurance.

How to express… This is very humbling. I walked in,…[Read more]

In Goldenhead, Sarai-chei referred to her brunette mother as mama, and her blonde mother as mimi. And in The Dream Key, I believe the blonde mother was affectionately called Mamala, though perhaps my memory escapes me.
Please, if it pleases you, keep us updated on this! I am always excited to hear about new intemorphic literature.

  • A side note:
My response had a poor sort of slant to it, from being relatively normal to becoming most apologetic. I most felt the implication of things in the middle of the post and felt the need to express that most immediately.

And I apologize if I do not make much sense; I ought to be sleeping right now! I am still worn out from travel. I…[Read more]

  • Rill-san,

I am honored to hear your response on the topic! I know now that it is tradition to avoid viewing the Eclipse, though I must shamefully confess that I did not know that before hand. I had made the promise to my family that I should attend with them last year, and so it was not possible for me to back out.

I am beyond grateful that I…[Read more]

About an hour ago, I arrived home from Idaho, USA. I travelled with family to go view the solar eclipse.

Now, I have seen discussion of the solar eclipse being something of a “mini Hiatus”, and even though I did not become aware of this discussion until I came home tonight, it is the mindset with which I began the…[Read more]

  • Miss Venus,

I am very, very, very new here – I know little about the Aphrodite Cocktail Bar, though it is on my list of research topics. I do not know if I was even all that old when it originated. I’m quite young, only starting my first year of university this fall!

Nevertheless, I ramble. I think that, and this is perhaps very uninformed, it…[Read more]

  • Miss Venus,

It sounds as though you’ve also made your way onto the Tellurian De’anic blogosphere.

If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, I have found that it is far better to avoid it.

I sought out Tellurian De’anists for the community – who does not wish for a faith community?

But I have found that it is more filled with Tellurian…[Read more]

I have started reading Happy Innocent Musumi Senshi, and yet, as is known, it is no longer active.

I love blogging, and was considering writing one from a Chelouranyan perspective; it would contain:
    – Reviews and reflections on episodes of different anime, such as PreCure (of course!), Sailor Moon, Aria, and other anime that I could find which…[Read more]
