Please do not apologize! You have not ruined any positivity of the experience, and yet, hearing of the traditional view was very humbling, and I believe was important to realign myself from the modern view of the Eclipse. Your words are a balm to my heart and a great reassurance.
How to express… This is very humbling. I walked in,…[Read more]
In Goldenhead, Sarai-chei referred to her brunette mother as mama, and her blonde mother as mimi. And in The Dream Key, I believe the blonde mother was affectionately called Mamala, though perhaps my memory escapes me.
Please, if it pleases you, keep us updated on this! I am always excited to hear about new intemorphic literature.
A side note:
My response had a poor sort of slant to it, from being relatively normal to becoming most apologetic. I most felt the implication of things in the middle of the post and felt the need to express that most immediately.
And I apologize if I do not make much sense; I ought to be sleeping right now! I am still worn out from travel. I…[Read more]
I am honored to hear your response on the topic! I know now that it is tradition to avoid viewing the Eclipse, though I must shamefully confess that I did not know that before hand. I had made the promise to my family that I should attend with them last year, and so it was not possible for me to back out.
I am beyond grateful that I…[Read more]
Rayati, honored ones!
About an hour ago, I arrived home from Idaho, USA. I travelled with family to go view the solar eclipse.
Now, I have seen discussion of the solar eclipse being something of a “mini Hiatus”, and even though I did not become aware of this discussion until I came home tonight, it is the mindset with which I began the…[Read more]
I am very, very, very new here – I know little about the Aphrodite Cocktail Bar, though it is on my list of research topics. I do not know if I was even all that old when it originated. I’m quite young, only starting my first year of university this fall!
Nevertheless, I ramble. I think that, and this is perhaps very uninformed, it…[Read more]
It sounds as though you’ve also made your way onto the Tellurian De’anic blogosphere.
If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, I have found that it is far better to avoid it.
I sought out Tellurian De’anists for the community – who does not wish for a faith community?
But I have found that it is more filled with Tellurian…[Read more]
I have started reading Happy Innocent Musumi Senshi, and yet, as is known, it is no longer active.
I love blogging, and was considering writing one from a Chelouranyan perspective; it would contain:
– Reviews and reflections on episodes of different anime, such as PreCure (of course!), Sailor Moon, Aria, and other anime that I could find which…[Read more]
Rayati! Miss Trent, I have seen many of your posts on Shining World and have long wished to make your acquaintance. I currently reside in Western Canada, and am sadly quite far away, but I should quite love in the future to make the trip down.
Such a project is a large undertaking, and I hope you are doing quite well.
I’ve been doing more and more research into Chinese culture due to its aesthetic proximity to Chen Avitsenhe, and I feel as though the Chinese quju (the variation of the shenyi, the one-piece robe, with an asymmetrical hemline when tied) is very similar to what we wore. I know Shaillemere in Goldenhead (Chapter Nine, I believe) sounded so very…[Read more]
I just remembered this thread today –
Normally, I keep a Rider-Waite deck downloaded on my phone. Something about having it is very calming.
However, I found a new app that I’ve quite fallen in love with – it’s called KawaiiTarot (I have an Android phone), and the imagery is a sort of kawaii, minimalist Japanese art.
I don’t know if any…[Read more]
Rosamunda-chei, I agree wholeheartedly. Part of my frustration with the situation was that… Well, why does a mascül feel the need to have a say about our culture, when it does not pertain to him?
As for my friend, she has indeed been looking into Chelouranya – thank Dea, she has not been driven away from the beauty of our inherent femininity…[Read more]
Rayati Miss Pearl!
I do not believe I have yet made your aquaintance – it is lovely to meet you!
I’ve always said that a good book transports one to another place, even if only for a while – Rosamunda-chei and Miss Darling made many good book recommendations here that you may find useful!
I have been looking further into Lolita fashion and culture, and I am absolutely in love!!! I’ve found a few YouTubers I will watch to learn a bit more!
I’ve come to a conclusion about my new name.
Sushuri-chei, as much as I wish I could take a Japanese name, my family is of English origin and we live in an English country.
However, I am quite pleased with my choice – Elizabeth.
I believe it is very beautiful, and it is certainly a classical name. I’m incredibly excited to go…[Read more]
Rosamunda-chei, I humbly beg your pardon! I did not mean to say that mascul and melini could ever be the same, and I know I worded that quite poorly. I suppose I was pointing more towards the “protective” aspect that each may hold depending on the dominant gender roles.
I strongly agree with your statement regarding the need for a large grain of…[Read more]
Beloved maidens –
Recently, I was speaking to a friend who is a De’anist, and is slowly warming up to the idea of feminine essentialism. In the De’anic community outside of Chelouranya there was a mascül who was very involved, but appears to have recently left De’anism because he felt that Aristasians/Chelouranyan feminine essentialism was…[Read more]
Rayati! Please grant me your loving indulgence.
First, it is only fitting that I should wish everyone a *slightly* early blessed Exaltation/May Day! May Dea bless such a wonderful holiday for us all.
I beg your forgiveness for bringing a more sad topic onto the forum, but of late there have been concerns with the mascül that my mother was…[Read more]
