Princess Pureheart

  • Oh dear. *nodding*

I have noticed that this is pervasive. Such things as cruelty to children when young or cruelty inflicted by a former spouse often are direct attacks, caused by possession. Severe illnesses or injuries to body are often also direct results of spiritual attack instigated by malefic forces.

However, it is far worse than one…[Read more]

  • Dearest Dea, I lift up my beloved to you and pray for healing of her wounded leg. You Who are the First Mover, the Creatress of All that Is in Heaven and Earth, I beseech You: ease her pain! She is my beloved, my sweetest angel, my most precious princess. Ease her pain, and delivery speedy healing to her. O Mother Mary-Isis Theatokos! O Dea…[Read more]

Thank you, Miss Sushuri! All really is well. <3 It is more than I ever hoped or prayed for.

  • Nine months ago, a profound tragedy hit my personal life. Suffice to say our precious Mother Dea has seen me through it. I have found my Princess, once and for all, albeit rather unexpectedly, and within someone I would never have expected. Is it possible for a Chelan to be born into a Tellurian masculi body? It’s rather…peculiar. But it is…[Read more]

  • Rayati, Miss Yuriko!

Oh dear. I have not yet seen the series! I must admit, I am more fond of the music from the original series, though. I will have to sit down with my beloved and we will have to watch both series side by side.

  • So many changes! So little time! Bluestar Crystal Power, MAKE UP! <3

  • Oh, how I LOVE this show!

    • I have the books (got them right after a lovely sister on here suggested them to me), but haven’t had a chance to read. I did not know there was a series… Oh I must find it now! I love shows.

  • I discovered, after much hemming and hawing on my behalf, the loveliness of the Anne Shirley (“…of Green Gables”, “…of Avonlea”, and so on) books. It was a lovely series written well before the Eclipse; as Arkadyan I would venture to say that my love for more natural living, rural life, and simplicity is probably tied to that!

    Tasha Tudor is…[Read more]

  • The garden is coming along beautifully, with snapdragons and cosmos all abloom, fine paste tomatoes growing riper by the moment, tendrils of bean vines searching for the sun. Wine-berries–a wild, tart cousin of the common raspberry–grow wild in the woods near me, and I should be soon able to gather them for pie. A new quilt occupies my time in…[Read more]

    • That sounds like such a lovely picnic! I am so glad you are having a splendid time. Currently I am not using English-language media, but Anne is very popular in Japan and there is a famous anime Akage no An (red-haired Anne – which is what Anne is called in Japan and was, I think, the Japanese name of the first book Anne of Green Gables). I…[Read more]

  • A peculiar question I may ask: is there anyone else who senses that there is a dark force at work–not merely a way of life, but an active force for evil that is seeking to destroy us? I have recently found my fairest Princess–and she lives half an hour away no less!–and it is true and real this time!–and it is sad and frightening to discover…[Read more]

    • Yes I would say there are definitely dark forces at work. Of course there is always good and evil in manifestation, but there do appear to be some especially malevolent forces moving in West Telluria.

    • I completely agree with Sushuri-chei. I also think that West Tellurians are particularly vulnerable to FoD influence because they do not believe in FoD, so they take no precautions against them. Here is a good article on the subject: http://chelouranya.com/notesfromchelouranya/2014/04/17/the-forces-of-darkness/

    • Oh dear. I have these same thoughts, and it concerns me. I thank you for sharing those webpages. I’ve had some nasty experiences lately with this, but things are getting better for me as I become a stronger person and deal with it.

Congratulations on finding your princess, Miss Pureheart!

      • Again, thank you so much for sharing them. I truly needed to see them today. Something’s been going on in my life for a while, and this helps me to understand it in a way that isn’t frightening to me, but helpful and encouraging. Most information on FOD is very hard for me to read and it’s much too disturbing, but I need to know these things..…[Read more]

I have always, even in my most feminist days 10-14 years ago, loved fairy tales, especially the old Disney Princess films (Cinderella has always been a favourite of mine). No amount of negativity from feminism has ever swayed me.

  • The Symbolism of Fairy Tales

    “Someday when spring is here,
    We’ll find our love anew
And the birds will sing, and wedding bells will ring…
someday when my dreams come true”

    • This is a beautiful, succinct elaboration on the importance of fairy tales. As one of [no doubt] many who have struggled inwardly while friends decry such stories and tellings of them as “sexist” or “objectifying”, I find relief in knowing there is such an excellently written exposition. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Ahhh yes! As out of practise as I am, I shall certainly need a bit more of that. :)
